Knives "they tend to be useless when cheap" commented Brenda I agree.
If you have a knife you like with a thick broad blade that doesn't flex you might well go home to the USA with all your fingers. My wife is exasperated at the large broad kitchen knife I use to chop onions as she likes a nice thin serrated edge knife. All it does for me is bend and slip off when I use it. Doorstep tomato and cucumber are a speciality! Trevor
