Quite a number of people didn't get there because of the weather, but even so the church was packed - it's a vast church - quite enough room to hold a very decent nb rally inside. A most impressive event, with a vast number of clerics (Guy reckoned the collective noun for vicars is 'a surplice of vicars') There is an aquatic connection (apart from the canal being in throwing distance) - Earl St. Vincent (predecessor of Nelson) was based there!
