Excellent news! Apart from the braided wire bit there is an issue on the insulation on some cables not enjoying the company of certain types of insulation and some very complicated issues surround using land based mains and the long term effect of galvanic action on your hull. The techy reading should address all these I'm sure. John - who has been a nervous wreck since a 'professional' installed a radio in a car without putting in grommets where the leads passed through the frame - I had smoke starting to billow up the vent holes onto the windscreen whilst doing 70 in lane 3 of a motorway - not very exciting.
