I think it's a funny old world Saint. Sometimes, watching something like
Question time, I wonder if I have changed planets overnight and landed in
loony-ville. Having said that I must admit there are a lot of nuts on the web.
If you don't believe me Google 'John Holmes' and you will find masses of them!
Strangely enough there is a guy with a website www.astro-nut.com who not only
seems vaguely sane but who also takes very pretty pictures - try
'sun-ha-04jul21.html' as an example of this.

Sorry if you're offended, but this is no laughing matter and
downloading a .exe and running it is a reckless thing to do
(especially on a computer that is not yours) unless you're
*absolutely* sure of its provenance. The advice was offered in the
spirit of helpfulness - we all learn by our mistakes, but I was just
trying to help you avoid making such a mistake in the first place. My
mistake was to assume you cared about your fellow users' privacy and
security. Do you know for sure that this .exe doesn't silently
install a keylogger on the machine, or turn it into part of a botnet
responsible for the torrent of spam we all have to suffer? Because
that's how these things propagate.
Hopefully you'll be more wary in future of downloading such things.
I cannot believe the patronising, if well-meaning above. Please do not offer any
more advice--I can do without it!
David Cragg--what do *you* think?
