How did you deal with cleaning up after her when she used the toilet
facilities on the towpath? - as I am sure you would do, of course!

Dorothy

This was long ago, Dorothy, before this trend of cleaning up after your dog was
common practice. In fact, having a dog virtually all my life I don't ever
remember seeing *anyone* do so. I wonder just what the catalyst was that
started [most]people to adopt this practice---I'm not poo-pooing the idea
[:-))] it just wasn't done!
Today I'd definitely be ready with a bag or shovel etc.etc.
Having said that, we all played as kids in grassy areas & no-one ever went
blind as a result of dog crap. There is a "funny" somewhere in my files called
"How did we ever survive?" if I find it I'll post it on the list, meanwhile,
I'll just feel guilty!
