Me - I would love a boat that was a lightweight 30 footer outside and at
least a narrow 60 inside moored up. Narrow -yes for I love the look on the
faces of some wide boaters when I dive into a narrow waterway that they can
never aspire to. Length - I wonder with some BW repairs, and adjustments if 57'
is too long for some leaky locks on northern canals and river navigations and
you would not want to miss visiting them as they are so different from down
south and it's nice to see the lot!
Fitting in any boat is a compromise so I hope you have tried the odd boat
for the odd week or more before spending money to have one built to your tastes.
