SWMBO here; sorry Rog, you lose! On two counts really, the Aldi parts turned up all present and correct and were quickly followed by a copy of the jiggery-pokery manual that Aldi sent to help himself's engineering skills along, and let's not forget that whether the Aldi gets fixed or not, this old boiler is likely to remain cold and miserable; it's a lifestyle choice :-)
