I had a very nice piece of venison with no complaints what so ever. No other disparaging words were heard from the other diners. It is definitely one step up from pub-grub with a limited menu of good quality food supported by a daily specials list. Main courses are 10-14GBP (so not cheap) but were very good quality last night. There were 10 people in total as the Sibleys and the Stewkey Blue crew did not join us at the White Lion. Allan C. drove up from Hunton Bridge and Neil, Linda and Terry S. also attended.
