I raised this with the ASA and asked them to explain how both 
organisations (The Egg add comes under a different body because it 
was to be broadcast)could come up with different adjudications when 
the crux of both was the likely reaction of consumers and they (the 
ASA) basically said they operate under a different code so will not 
consider the broadcasts lot precedent.

It stinks. The ASA chap refused to tell me how he was qualified to 
adjudicate on a technical matter.
