I've been a Norton subscriber for many years and have never received a 
warning from them  -  they rely on people looking on their web site. 
Microsoft, I believe, *never* issue virus warnings.  I don;t know about 
McAfee.  But the bogus warning nearly always pretend to come from somebody 
like these -  usually Microsoft.
