At a conference at Vale Village at the University of Birmingham later this month. Next to canal, and uni's map shows a bridge from the towpath (not on my old Nicholson's or OS). Question is, walk it (with some luggage) from Five Ways station through Edgbaston Tunnel (any access to towpath from A540?), or from University station (access by bridge 82)? Or forget that and go through campus?
