Yes, all the "candlestick" type paddles can be dropped, some will go quicker than others. The important thing to remember (as the lockie at Hatton pointed out to me) is that occasionally they do not go all the way down (and sometimes they need help to move at all!), so once they have dropped I give them a quick twist by hand to check them. Nothing worse that trying to fill the bath with the plug out (I would imagine.......) Cheers George "Bungle" Eycott
