Being the sad git I am (quiet at the back), I was watching a bit of
history the other day, namely a TV program from 1982 called "Making the
most of the Micro" which was one of the series the BBC did to accompany
the BBC micro computer (or the other way around). Anyway, they were
doing a bit on how micros are (well, were) used in the real world and
they were using BWB (as they were then) as an example. There was this
young lady operating a Micro putting in details of where all the hire
boats had been so they knew where the busiest parts of the system were
so that they could plan where to put marinas (note, this was to plan for
them to go in the quiet bits where there was enough water, not the
busiest bits, wonder what happened to that plan). Imagine my surprise
when they flashed the name of the person on the screen, none other than
Sally Ash! Just how long has she been at BW?
