Your factoid for the day: The 'opposite' of tennis elbow (i.e. tendonitis on the outside of the joint) is called "golfer's elbow", as it can be caused by the sudden strain resulting from driving the ball off the tee with maximum force. ISTM that baseball pitchers can get it too. I know because my physician once thought I had it, despite my not having held a golf club since I was at university. I didn't. "a soft unsightly swelling on the outside of the joint" - hmm, could that also be a description of a beer belly? I thought a plumber's elbow was a type of pipe fitting. <back to work!> Adrian Adrian Stott 07956-299966
