Memo to self - do not respond to postings on this list after the second
pint, it only winds Mr M up, tender plant that he is. Since you
obviously don't read the blog (sob), New Year had its downsides - the
new grandson was poorly and didn't come, nor didhis parents, the
daughter broke up with her boyfriend three days before, and then she
brought this schnapps with her of which I admit I partook a little too
freely. (Well, it had herbs in, so it must be good for you [Pratchett
again])

Apart from that we had a great time.

Well, that's what you were told:-} A wise child were you? (In which
case, what happened later?)

Someone else has beaten me to it on this one.

We had ice before Christmas, but just a thin skin of it in sheltered
spots yesterday. Today started OK, but ended with sleety rain and gusty
wind, which I could have done without, trying to get alongside at
Heritage for diesel (65p) and a so-so pump out (GBP15).
