I'm not sure whether that's a slur on those born in Yorkshire or those who've moved there. I'll leave it to the true Tykes to respond as they feel necessary. As for me, I was born and brought up, speaking the Queen's English, in Oxfordshire. The quality of that county has been diluted somewhat with immigrants, in places like Thame for example, but by and large the natives have managed to retain the correct lingua franca. ;-)) Roger
