Here we go again . . . After last year's literal wash-out I have been feeling wary of offering to group the bookings again, but I am willing to do it.
Saul Canal Festival is scheduled for 4/5/6 July this year See www.junctionevents.org.uk Let me know if anyone is interested and I'll keep you appraised of what needs to be done and when. I'm not even considering any pre-event roving rally or such-like as Mrs B and I are scheduled to walk the Great Glen Way from Fort William to Inverness in the week preceding the SCF. All being well we will be back on the G&S by Friday 4th mid afternoon giving us time to chug up to Saul before the bridge-keepers knock of at 18:40, oh sorry . . . ahem . . . at 19:00. Possibly there is a chance of another Lydney excursion but I have to learn if this would be the weekend of 11/12/13. Many of you will be are aware that, much as I enjoyed taking Uncle Mort across the tideway in 2006, I am slightly averse to a repeat performance. Cheers Beeky
