Emilyanne was done in epoxy orignally.
 - Shot blasted inside and out, blast primer on with half an hour.
Followed by a coat of epoxy aluminum, and two coats of epoxy blacking.

We found it to be fine, durable and affective.

The blacking we used was then discontinued, so on our suppliers* advice
swaped to there one part vinal blacking. Which we have used every
since, and found to be as good as the epoxy, and easier to apply.

We black every 4years or so, on a fairly heavyly used boat, and could
get away with doing it less often it lasts that long. On the cabin we
used two part polyeurethene.
