Has anyone thought about the cost? We will end up paying duty and 17.5% vat HMRC have confirmed this. So, starting at the current 62p/litre inc VAT @5%: Current Price: 062p/litre Less VAT @ 5%: 059p/litre Less Cur Duty: 049p/litre Plus New Duty: 103p/litre Plus Vat @17.5: 121p/litre So that's a doubling in price from present prices and that's before Darling puts on any more tax in the budget! Also I believe that the claimable allowance for those with one tank will have a maximum limit according to the type of boat. Julian
