And they want toilets that do everything bar sing "Pop
Goes The Weasel", not to mention gold plated taps, etc.
My first canal hol was on a camper butty (Kildare) towed
by an unconverted motor. The ablutions were a tin bowl
and the toilet was a vast elsan. I don't go canalling to
pretend I'm at the Ritz, especially as I'm up and down
locksides all day and generally somewhat scruffy by the
end of the day (and at the start, to tell the truth).
