On Orange PAYG you dial 450, then the numbers to reply to the menus
are 3, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1. Make sure you receive a text confirming that
the Orange Extra has been applied. Otherwise you'll get charged £4
per MB.

World 1 for £1 operates until midnight on the day of purchase, and
World 7 operates for 6 and-a-bit days for £5.

If you can get through to the right Orange operator, it is possible to
have another Orange Extra added to your account which limits your
daily data expenditure to £2. Useful if you forget to buy the £1
bundle, or you expect to use less than 250KB. Some operators, and
their supervisors, will tell you that the limit bundle doesn't exist,
and has never existed. Hang up after arguing with them for nearly an
hour, then try again and get through to someone who can do it straight
away.
