If you are on Orange contract, NOT Pay as you go, then it's £5 per month for unlimited off peak data (after 7pm). Just call 150 on your handset and they'll add it on for you. I don't know whether they can add it on instantly or you have to have it from your next bill, but I put it on last summer then took it off in the winter whilst I'm not using it. There are other bundles if you need it 24 hours rather than after 7pm and all weekend. It works and is VERY fast if you are in a 3G area (with a 3G phone), but more like dial up used to be if you are out of 3G coverage and it reverts to GPRS.
