Watch house Cruising Club is on the Bridgewater Canal at Stretford. It is a
cosy little place and the home for many years of The Manchester Branch IWA
committee meetings.
The building has an interesting history and was/is owned by the MSC. I was much
involved in the campain to save the building when plans were afoot to demolish
it. I am pleased to report that the inspector at the public inquiry found in
our favor. Enjoy your pint!.
