That's a £ handy tip Iain, thanks. I'll investigate round the back next time we're aboard. From gingerly feeling the still warm stove at the end of the last trip, during which the plate fell off, everything seemed in pretty horrible condition. The main constraint maybe space to work on the affected area. Cheers Beeky
