There is a residential narrowboat on the long term moorings at Newbold and I was going by him one morning and I saw him standing on the well deck filling up a generator with petrol. He had a fag hanging in his mouth. I said 'Isn't that a bit dangerous?'.'F-off he replied, still with fag in his mouth with a long ash residue ready to fall off the end. I took his advice and revved up to get the F out of range. What a pillock. -- Will Chapman Help us Save Our Waterways www.SaveOurWaterways.org/join
