Hi Debbi & Simon,

I am extemely surprised to hear of your attempted theft and trshing
of some of your personal items. I was so certain that your mooring
was very safe from the road and unlikely to be approached from the
canal, I was quite envious of your premium position.

I do hope that the damage is not too severe and that some loving care
and attention will put right your "horrific" experience.

Last year,Whilst on the boat, I lost my folding bicycle to passing
theves. What they didn't see was my moped. I chased them on the moped
and was luckly not to have been thrown into the canal and succeded by
surprise confrontaion, to get my bike back. With knives
being "normally" carried these days, I don't think I would attempt
the same thing again. However, when the adrenalin kicks in, one
doesn't stop to think.

I hope you both get over the "shock" of the experience quickly.

After the Little Venice Cavalcade, if you want some help in making
your mooring more secure from "thieves and bandits" I would be only
too pleased to offer my 2 hands and help in carrying out any security
work with you. I know only too well, (First hand) how useful an extra
pair of hands can be. I will be returning to your "patch" after the
Cavalcade. Please let me know if I can be of any help.

Regards, ~Allan~
