Following an episode when I got severely lost trying to find Denham
village from the moorings above Denham Deep (ended up in New Denham,
not the same place at all), I'm seriously thinking of acquiring a
handheld GPS for expeditions away from the boat (and for measuring my
speed as we hurtle long the cut, of course ;-} )
Some web research suggests that something like the Garmin Trek HCx is
what I need, but I'd be glad of folk's experience and advice with these
beasts.
