Having trailed down 280 miles to the Grand Western for the trailboat Rally - 
and very good it was - the obvious follow-on was to visit the Bridgwater and 
Taunton Canal.

So on May 5th I sent off my money for a week's licence.

I think four or five of us moved over to the B&T, and at least three of us had 
not received our licence - not that anyone bothered to check.

Today 13th June - the licence has arrived by first class post - with an expiry 
date of 3rd June.

I make that 30 working days. More to the point - they have not yet debited my 
account - so that's £19.77 BW have not had for the last month. Times that by 
the three boats - that's £59.31 + interest they have not utililised. Times that 
by all the other licence fees not yet processed - just how much are they losing 
out - at my gain.

Look after the pennies BW and....
