We decided last night that we couldn't really to Bedford so this morning we turned round and headed back downstream. We set of at 0830 and stopped at Godmanchester Lock for a look round the town, we then continued on down to Hemingford where we had lunch in the Cock Pub. This was very good and we had a 2 course fixed price meal for £11 each. They have two separate rooms, one is the bar and the other a restaurant, so if you just want to drink there is a bar with 4 local beer on tap and if you want to eat there is the restaurant. After chatting to two extended cruisers we set off again until we finally moored at 1800 at the Pike and Eel.
