Did they ever use tractors on the bcn? Btw, i'm using a mobile at the mo and was surprised when the predictive text came up with the bcn option!
-- Michael Askin Not that I know of - IIRC the tractors on the lower GU were used to haul barges as a substitute for a Shire - the nbs used on the BCN being within the capacity of a 'normal' boat-horse. Sean
