Not show jumping horses then :-) - says he just watching a repeat of
the Olympic horse jumping :-)


But on a more serious note - presumably the acts of parliament
facilitating the building and the law as it currently stands - gives
the canal owner the right to access the off side and a small piece of
land for the bridge structure ? - but does it give boaters any right
of access.

The reason I ask - is could BW legally provide a facility for boats to
temporarily tie up on the offside. 
I know many of us do of course - but some are rather difficult.
