In and idle moment this morning, I was hunting around the BW web site to find out the dates of the Annual Meeting and the Scottish Annual Meeting - I failed to find them! However, on following the link on the top left of the first BW page (not waterscape) to the BW Press Update dated 21st August, I found the following paragraph 3. Changes to BW’s licence terms and conditions A number of changes to BW’s licence terms and conditions come into effect from mid September. The revisions will not apply retrospectively but to new licences as they are renewed. Representatives of leading boating organisations commented on the changes earlier in the year.
The full terms and conditions, together with a summary of the changes (which include the use of bio-degradable soaps and detergents when discharging used water into the network and a strengthening of the requirement for those hiring out a boat to provide adequate training) are available from the Press Office. Again, I searched for more information on this and failed miserably. Anyone know where the "full terms and conditions etc. " are? Anyone know anything about the Annual meetings? I heard a rumour that there may not be one in Scotland this year.
