Thanks Guy - I had spotted that site via Google, I'll wait on for Brian's
further input.
What I really want to do is find something that will cover the mounting
area of the existing ceiling units and which even I can "simply" rewire. I
fear I may have to get some hardwood disks made to do the job properly.
Then I could mount 3 fairly standard units and a switch at each point. But
that's looking like an expensive and time consuming option.
Apart from the output and efficiency of the original units they are
developing cracks - fatigue like failures in the brass rims as if caused
by some kind of persistent vibration. {:o)
