To my understanding Titanic was going too fast for the conditions, and very little will survive impact with ice at speed. Additionally (as was the custom at the time) the watertight bulkheads did not go up to the deckhead in the engine spaces. Not a rivet / steel problem.
SS Nomadic was built alongside Titanic, and is still in existence (but in need of help) www.nomadicpreservationsociety.co.uk will give you detail. Construction will have been to the same pattern. Also if you look at old railway bridges you will see that many of them surviving with the same construction as Titanic and Nomadic.
