But I guess you should have some idea of what throttle you are
needing, and if the engine is reaching the rev limiter. Also, and this
goes for any boat, always try an emergancy stop when it doesn't
matter, you might find something will break and rather than loose
control when you least need it be able to sort it out in a more
leisurely suitation! :-)

Kismet will stop in open water within about 1/2 length. Shoestring
takes quite a bit longer, often because the gearbox needs adjusting
(it slips in reverse if not properly setup)!
