I am also now with Craftinsure - but again have not had a claim yet.

I left Mardon (N&G) because I felt a condition for using the tidal 
Thames was potentially dangerous and then Saga because of the barrage 
of marketing material despite my making it clear at the start that 
they were only to contact me about the marine insurance.

Craftinsure seems to have an enlightened policy towards getting 
endorsements for tidal passages (at extra cost)and appeared to 
understand the locations and ramifications. Sage certainly did not an 
alleged that I could do the Tidal Severn (I think) without an 
endorsement but there was no way they would insure me for a trip to 
the Medway (in both cases I made it clear I would discuss any 
modifications and stipulations required).
