George (or anyone else who may have solved the problem!) With your knowledge of a particular mobile data network (other networks are available folks) do you think there is any way I can get an public IP address for my data connection? Its quite restricting to not be able to do things (like run a proper webcam ;-) or more interestingly potentially to access monitoring systems) from another location given that the connection is given a private IP address. It wouldn't even need to be static as long as it was external as I could then use a DynDNS type service.
