I wouldn't have thought so, because
1. that item appeared on 16th January and has now slipped to the "Past 
Headlines" page
2. there was no mention of Pennine Waterways in that item and no link to 
the site
3. my stats don't show anyone arriving at Pennine Waterways from the 
Narrowboat World site, which is not surprising as there is no link from 
there.

I see that PW has now shot up to no. 6 in the "100 Top Boating Sites" 
list. It was this that first alerted me that there was something odd 
although, oddly, the hits registered by them are less than the unique 
visitors registered by Sitemeter.

The story I reported on PW in October was based on information given out 
to User Group meetings and I have a copy of the email from the area 
manager to interested local groups. My report is as accurate as the 
information that the area manager sent out. Maybe one half of BW doesn't 
know what the other half is saying?
