I've now exchanged emails with Barry off-list and understand his
position better. It's now clear to me that Barry's problem is not
anything to do with the way Yahoo administers this mailing list -
this has remained the same.

Barry receives messages from the list through his yahoo.co.uk email
account. He reads these on the yahoo.co.uk website, rather than via
an email client such as Outlook Express. It seems that it is the
yahoo.co.uk website which now treats his emails from the group
differently.

Is there anybody else on the list who has a yahoo.co.uk email address
and who reads his/her emails via the yahoo.co.uk website? If so, can
you tell me what has changed there? Have you got any advice for
Barry?

Any advice from people who read the list in any different fashion may
be of limited use to Barry.
