Correct me if I am wrong but I seem to remember the late David Hutchings saving that the original act included the right of navigation up to Warwick. if a connection could then be made with the GU we would then have a broad southern ring.The connection of the GU to the Bedfordshire Ouse would create even more broadwater cruising.
