I'm told the Brycelands are running a studio washing machine from
their 2 kW Mastervolt inverter on Braidbar 100 successfully. The
TravelPower has caused as much grief/cost as all the rest of the boat
kit put together for us, so I wouldn't have one again.

Most full size machines get into around 2 kW just for the heating
element. If in doubt, check out the tech details on the website or in
the store - they have to provide them as part of the enviro impact
assessment these days.

Then we get into the idea of plumbing the hot supply into the cold
fill only port on the machine so as to use engine heated water from
the calorifier. Good idea, except most machines go into fault status
if the input water temp is over a fairly low value. I'm still
investigating that one.
