OK. On the dry sump version, the breather hose between the engine and
the oil tank connects to the engine at the governor housing, just next
to where the throttle-lever goes in. It might be worth looking to see if
you have a breather there.

You're right: last week's plug was on the uk.rec.waterways newsgroup.

Well, it hasn't been around as long as that. When I inherited the care
and feeding of the FR2 on Melaleuca, one of the things the previous
owner gave me was the contact details for Alan Smith, who was
maintaining a register of known FR owners. That register metamorphosed
into the mailing list.

Does Arun's FR3 have a Lister gearbox too?
