Hello all, I have some sealed gel batteries which I will be using as one of my battery banks. Its a strange shaped/layout boat (old widebeam thames cruiser) and as such battery space is almost nonexistent. I also need to put more ballast down the port side.
If I put the gel batterys in the bottom of the kitchen cupboards it will solve both of the above problems but im not sure about having batterys "on charge" indoors. Does "sealed" mean the gel won't leak out if the unit is tipped over or does it mean they don't produce gas when charging? Hopefully the former but probably the latter. Any advice will be very welcome! Cheers lee [email protected] Trust the boater but not his plank! visit Low Impact Life Onboard www.lilo.org.uk [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
