I certainly agree with 5...or are BW going to continue the cosy relationship with themselves? (BWML) where the "no licence" deal exends to other BMWL marinas, in the heart of the inland system. As for the charge out of "hours"*, this is the gradual drip-drip-drip of "pay to boat" that I predicted when BW started to charge for Visitor Moorings at Boston, then Llangollen. I bet they wish Dave Fletcher never existed. This on top of the highest licence fees in Europe? Boaters* cannot "vote with their feet", due to the incredible influx of "non-boating" liveaboards and the "unsuitability"* of narrowboats going elsewhere. But what do BW care? it is all income, do they honestly think they can keep this up under the pretence of wanting to become a "Trust" (stalling tactics). "hours"* Do BW think that tides only work during office hours? Boaters* That dying bred that have a boat to go cruising on... and not to live on with (very) occasional cruising. "unsuitability"* Added for Adrian's benefit ;-) -- Neil Arlidge NB Earnest - Out of it....and likely to stay that way... TNC...The Wilderness Years... http://www.tuesdaynightclub.co.uk/tour.html
