Oh don't, please, don't. It's just as bad down here on the K&A.

We staggered onto the boat at 00:30 on Friday, 'fresh' from a day
watching our nephew play cricket in Solihull. Up at civilised hour,
we finally got away from Bradford-on-Avon Marina at about 11ish and
by 12ish were ready for a spot of lunch, all of a mile away below BoA
Lock. We managed to drag ourselves as far as Dundas by teatime
whence we retired to do nothing and relax afterwards.

Saturday dawned fine a warm and we resolved to make the terrifyingly
ambitious passage to Bath Top Lock, almost five miles as well as a
couple of swing bridges. We got to see 70013 Oliver Cromwell pass
the town twice, the evening trip being viewed from Sydney Gardens
where you can practically reach out and touch the train [not
recommended]. In between there was a certain amount of retail
therapy and replenishment of ships stores.

Sunday was just as fine and I was even motivated to polish the
brass. Winding above the lock following the conclusion of 'The
Archers' [Tom and Brenda -aah!] we meandered back to Dundas where we
took on extra crew - a colleague of Lynne's and her partner - for the
remainder of the voyage back to the mooring. OK, we did have to
queue for BoA Lock for half an hour as one bottom paddle had failed,
and I have to admit that there was a good deal of friendly discussion
with fellow boaters as well as the chance to brew a cuppa. To cap it
all we had to drive home in the evening across Somerset with this
absolutely gorgeous sunset to contemplate.

I don't think I can take much more of this.
