Stork, the Cowpar motor made it all the way upto Llangollen and that draws 
around 3ft I believe, although it does have a rounded bilge.

I suppose the main question with older boats is can they pass through Hurleston 
Locks OK? I note you have said your beam is 6ft 10 so you shouldn't have any 
problems.

 I'm toying with the idea of taking Bream (6'10" beam, 2'8" draught) onto 
 the Llangollen in the next week or two. How far will I get? Nicholsons 
 suggests the max draught on any of it is 2'3" but I've also heard that 
 I'd probably get to Trevor. Is Llangollen itself definitely out?
