In that case, it'll probably be ok so long as you can get close enough  
to the bank.

I can understand the need to be on that side of the river, given the  
lack of bridges for miles in either direction from that point! My wife  
is acutely aware of the consequences of trusting her car sat-nav in  
relation to finding the pub at Bablock Hythe :-)))
