Just below Stanthorne Lock, near the cut through for town. We thought it would
be better for Kit the Killer Cat (AKA Cuddly Nutkins) to be in rural
surroundings for her lethal nocturnal prowlings, but didn't imagine we'd get a
space hereabouts. Or that it'd be so empty generally up the Shroppie.
Just had a potter down into town where the beer tent's coming on apace at the
main site, and where a group of disconsolate skippers of 'heritage' craft on
the boat site were standing around wishing it was coming on quicker.
