G'day, all!!! sometime in late September, Anne and I will be cruising the T & M. As part of my preparations, I have consulted Nick's Canal Planner, and it says, with respect to the Harecastle tunnel:
This day's cruising may be affected by passage through Harecastle Tunnel. Passage > through the tunnel is under BW control, and may involve a wait (in > particular, if you arrive in the late afternoon or evening you may well have > to wait until the next day). > In July 2001 the official word was that you must arrive by 4pm > to guarantee passage. As we are now eight years further on, I am wondering if that 4 pm deadline is still in effect, or if it has changed. Would Some Kind Soul who has recently traversed the Tunnel please confirm the booking time? Thanks in advance for your assistance...
