Five years of wrestling with my Victron Multi leads me to think it's
always been inclined to drop into float early, and it's getting
worse. I'm waiting to get back to Poynton in the autumn, when I'll
get them to attack it once more - Peter Mason seems more clued up
about these issues than Iain Bryceland was, and he has the magic
connecting lead that lets you check out the beast with your laptop.
(Can't do it myself, it's a Windoze prog).
If we can't sort it, I'll either have to replace it, or take a bit
off Sanity's asking price to allow for the fact that her new owner
will probably want to do so. Certainly, charging the batteries with
the TravelPower + Victron rig hasn't been as successful as I'd hoped.
I'm seriously thinking about MasterVolt for Sanity Again.
All the best
Bruce
Go steady, but keep going.
